This policy explains which data we process when you visit this site, contact us or place an order, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Online orders and payments are currently closed on this site: no order can be placed and no payment is collected.
Browsing, hosting and language
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California (United States) — www.netlify.com. To display the pages and keep the site secure, this host processes technical connection data (in particular IP address, browser and pages requested), which may be processed in the United States or other countries.
On a first visit without a chosen language, the Swiss region estimated from the IP address is used only to display the most likely language (French, German, Italian; English outside Switzerland). This estimate is not stored. Your manual language choice is remembered in a cookie and always takes precedence.
Orders
For an order, we process: first and last name, email, phone, delivery address, delivery preferences or receiving availability, order contents and amount, payment method and status; for professionals, also: company, UID/VAT number and order reference if provided, and unloading conditions. We never receive your card details.
Bank transfer: if you send a proof (PDF or image), it is kept with the order for accounting verification. It is never used to confirm a payment: only the actual credit on our account counts.
Attribution: if you arrive via a campaign link, the campaign parameters (source, campaign, content) are attached to your order to measure the effectiveness of our ads. Advertising click identifiers are kept only with your “Advertising” consent.
Purposes: processing and delivering your order, coordinating delivery, sending you the confirmation and a personal link to your order, answering your requests, meeting our legal and accounting obligations.
“Pallets” pre-order: as soon as you enter your details in this journey (company, first name, last name, phone, e-mail, postcode), a pre-order is saved, without e-mail validation, and linked to your device by a necessary cookie. It then contains the volume, reception availability and address you provide. It lets you resume your pre-order and lets our team contact you if it is not completed. It never gives access to existing orders of your e-mail address.
Customer account
If you request a sign-in link, we send it to the address given only if orders are linked to it. The link is valid for 30 minutes and can be used once; the session lasts at most 7 days. Only the orders of that email address are shown.
The sign-in link is also sent if a pre-order in progress is linked to the address; it lets you resume it on another device.
Audience measurement and advertising
Only with your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) for visit statistics, with anonymised IP address; the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) to measure our advertising campaigns. These providers may process data in the United States. Refusing never prevents you from ordering.
If you have accepted advertising, a purchase event may be sent to Meta after our server has confirmed the payment, with hashed identifiers (email, phone, postcode, town) and the order amount, to measure our campaigns. Without this consent, nothing is sent.
Recipients
Payrexx AG, Thun (Switzerland): processing of online payments (data needed for payment and fraud prevention).
Order database: Supabase Inc. — données hébergées en Suisse (région de Zurich).
Email delivery: Infomaniak Network SA, Genève (Suisse).
Website hosting: Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, California (United States) — www.netlify.com.
Carriers and logistics partners: name, address, phone and the information needed for delivery.
Retention period
Messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you. Order data and proofs are kept for as long as needed to process them, then in accordance with the legal retention obligations for accounting records (in principle ten years). Sign-in links expire after 30 minutes.
Pre-orders that are not completed are deleted automatically after 30 days.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and object to certain processing by writing to info@olive-ingredients.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
