OLIVE Ingredients

Terms and conditions of sale

Version of 26 September 2026

Translation from French. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

These terms apply to orders placed on olive-ingredients.ch by households and professionals, for delivery in Switzerland.

Current status

Online orders and payments are currently closed on this site: no order can be placed and no payment is collected.

These terms describe the intended process. The version applicable to an order is the one displayed and accepted when that order is placed.

1. Seller

The seller is Frédéric Madureira Rodrigues, trading as OLIVE Ingredients, Rue Jean-Jacques-de-Sellon 6, 1201 Geneva, Switzerland. Contact: info@olive-ingredients.ch, +41 78 614 06 32.

2. Products and offers

Virgin and extra virgin olive oil: 15 L packs (3 × 5 L containers), 5 L and 25 L containers, 50 L duos (2 × 25 L containers), professional offers in 100 L blocks (4 × 25 L containers) and pallets. The contents, price and price per litre of each offer are shown before ordering and appear in the summary.

15 L packs: one pack of each grade per household (same person, address or phone number). Available quantities may be limited.

Product images are for illustration only: packaging and labels may vary, without ever changing the product ordered (virgin or extra virgin category), its volume, quantity or essential characteristics.

3. Prices

Prices are in Swiss francs (CHF), delivery included anywhere in Switzerland. The price is the same whatever the payment method: no discount or surcharge depends on the payment method, and no charges are added after payment.

Professional prices: the price per litre of 25 L containers (professional blocks and 25 L pallets) depends on the total 25 L volume of the order (tiers shown: from 100 L, 500 L and 1,000 L). Some pallet prices may be shown as “under review”: they cannot then be ordered online.

Welcome offer 2+1 (5 L containers): from 3 × 5 L containers of the same quality, one container is free (2 charged at the launch price, the 3rd free: canonical 3 × 5 L offer, virgin CHF 50.40, extra virgin CHF 59.40). A single free unit, only once per quality and per customer, delivery address or phone number; eligibility is checked by the server when you order. If the offer has already been used, all units are charged at the launch price. The offer does not apply to 25 L containers and is never combined with a professional rate on the same litres.

4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

Ordering will take place in steps: postcode check, contact details (company for professionals), delivery address in Switzerland, delivery preference or receiving availability, summary with acceptance of these terms, then payment.

For an online payment, the contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed by the payment provider. You receive an order reference and a confirmation by email.

For a bank transfer payment, the order is recorded and reserved when submitted; it is confirmed as paid only once the funds have actually reached the seller’s account. The notice “I have made the payment” and uploading a proof do not count as payment.

An add-on offered after a pack order (the other grade) is a separate order, with its own time-stamped acceptance of these terms and its own payment. Abandoning it or its failure does not affect the first order.

5. Payment

Online payment will take place on a page hosted by Payrexx AG (Switzerland). The seller never has access to your card details.

The payment method depends on the final order total calculated by the server (after prices, offers and tiers): below CHF 750, online payment (Payrexx); from CHF 750, direct bank transfer only, with a QR-bill (unique payment reference). Orders in the “Pallets” journey are always paid by bank transfer. Another payment method can be agreed with the seller on request. Transfer status: “awaiting payment”, then “payment reported” or “proof received” when you tell us about your transfer; none of these statuses counts as payment: the order is paid only once the seller has seen the credit on its account.

6. Delivery to households

Delivery is included anywhere in Switzerland, to the address given with the order. The delivery window shown is an estimate, not a guaranteed date. The day and time chosen are preferences, not guaranteed appointments; the seller contacts you if the delivery has to be adjusted.

7. Professional orders and pallets

Professional and pallet orders are delivered with a consolidated shipment to Switzerland (pre-sale). The “reservable pallets” shown correspond to the allocation still available on that shipment (allocation, minus confirmed sales, current reservations and safety reserve); this is not physical stock in Switzerland.

The arrival date shown is an estimate. You indicate the days and time slot when your team can receive the goods; these are coordination availabilities. The firm delivery date is confirmed by the seller before shipment, by email or phone.

The customer ensures suitable unloading conditions (access for a truck, dock, forklift or need for a tail lift, as indicated in the order). The quantities per pallet shown are planning references; quantities, lot number and logistics details are confirmed before shipment. Any difference is communicated before shipment and the price is adjusted to the volume actually delivered.

Volume orders: you choose a volume in whole 5 L or 25 L containers. The price is calculated per container and per litre (professional tiers on the 25 L volume). The number of pallets shown is a logistics estimate based on market references (around 144 to 160 × 5 L containers and 26 × 25 L containers per pallet), not a supplier specification; final palletisation is confirmed before shipment and does not change the price.

“Pallets” journey: payment is made exclusively by direct bank transfer, with no online payment. The order stays awaiting payment until the funds have actually reached the seller’s account; a payment notification or proof of payment is not a payment.

Reception availability: you indicate the month, period and time of day when you are most available. These are not firm dates; deliveries are grouped by area and the seller contacts you after the order to agree on how the delivery will be organised.

Large volumes: an order may require one or several coordinated shipments (truck capacity, pallet positions, payload, remaining allocation on the next shipment). The seller contacts you after the order to organise the planning; the order price does not change.

8. Delay or impossibility of delivery

In the event of a significant delay (in particular of the consolidated shipment), the seller informs you without delay and proposes a new date. If delivery cannot take place, or if you refuse the new date, the amounts paid for undelivered products are refunded in full.

9. Receipt, defects and non-conformity

Please check the goods on receipt and report any damage, defect or non-conformity as soon as possible, ideally with a photo, to info@olive-ingredients.ch. For pallets, visible reservations must be noted on the delivery document. Statutory warranty rights remain reserved.

10. Cancellation and refund

You can cancel your order as long as it has not been shipped, by writing to info@olive-ingredients.ch or calling +41 78 614 06 32. The amount paid is then refunded in full.

After shipment there is no general right of voluntary cancellation (Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online purchases).

Your rights in the event of non-delivery, defects or non-conformity remain reserved in all cases.

11. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.

12. Applicable law, jurisdiction and language

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, subject to mandatory jurisdictions provided by law in favour of consumers. These terms are drawn up in French; translated versions are provided for convenience and, in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
